Ciao! I’m Sara, born and raised in Italy and now living in Perth. I’m the heart behind Married in Italy.

Before creating this business, I spent several years helping people plan some of the most meaningful trips of their lives: honeymoons, anniversaries, and romantic escapes that always had a touch of magic. Over the past four years, I’ve had the privilege of guiding couples through travel and romance planning, and I realised something important: my favourite part was never just the destination; it was the love story behind it.

That’s how Married in Italy began. I wanted to bring together my Italian roots, my background in travel, and my passion for creating unforgettable experiences.

Today, as a Certified Destination Wedding Specialist, I help Australian couples plan their dream weddings in Italy - from intimate elopements in Tuscany to big family celebrations overlooking the Amalfi Coast. My goal is to make the process feel effortless, joyful, and full of la dolce vita.

I speak both Italian and English (and a little of that universal language called espresso), so you can relax knowing nothing gets lost in translation.
